This is definitely a place where locals go. I was in the area for some business and stopped for a quick lunch where it was packed. The hostess didn't speak English and my broken Spanish unfortunately didn't get us anywhere. I think they had a typical lunch meal that everyone was eating but we couldn't understand her so she just gave us a menu and we ordered dishes from there. DELICIOUS food and huge portions but was just a bit intimidating.
Great Pollo Ala brasco sometimes Other times it's way to dry. You must ask the cashier to make sure that the chicken is not too dry. The orange sauce which you can ask for as a condiment is incredible. In addition, it only costs $5 for a half chicken. All in all, it was an incredible experience.
The food is phenomenal and very affordable. I usually order the BBQ beef ribs for $10. it is freshly cooked, no preservatives, and just a lot of meat for the price. The place is a little small, however its all about the food, not the location.
They tend to be consistent with the food. The rice is a little to garlicky for my taste. The food is fresh. The staff is pleasant. They don't have the green sauce for the meat but definitely a place you should try out.
Although not a Brazilian restaurant they do offer Brazilian style BBQ chicken which is very tasty. This place is very humble. The wait staff speak Spanish but are very nice! Food is great and good prices! They have strawberry kiwi Snapple and Fanta! I had a good experience.
Myself and three friends have been getting takeout here every Tuesday night for the past six months. Everything is delicious and unbelievably cheap. For $4-$5 each we stuff ourselves. Chicken and ribs barbecued perfectly, love the Tostones (we get them instead of the fries ). When we are particularly hungry we order the "Combinacion mixta" for $20. Tuesday has become my favorite day of the week. Used to be a Brazilian restaurant, now Equatorian. Very friendly and accommodating staff.
